Located in the northwestern coastal area of \u200b\u200bthe parish of Bandeiras, the proposal is situated on the highest and flattest part of the land, taking advantage of privileged views over Pico Mountain, the sea, and the neighboring islands.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The layout was carefully defined in order to preserve and integrate the existing basalt walls, incorporating them into the overall design and ensuring their harmony with the existing vineyard and its preservation, respecting the logic and identity of the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dwelling is organized according to a \"T\" geometry, developing around a central courtyard that structures and articulates the different spaces. This fragmented configuration allows for a clear definition of the various areas and reinforces a visual and architectural relationship between the internal and external spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The generous openings, protected by wooden shutters, introduce natural light and depth to the spaces, allowing specific views to be framed and establishing a balanced and controlled relationship between the interior and exterior, promoting the natural extension of living spaces to the outside and the entry of the landscape into the daily experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The use of volcanic stone consolidates the identity of the complex, respecting the local construction tradition and ensuring full integration into the Protected Landscape of the Pico Island Vineyard Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
